* Q is for quilt *

For the letter Q, we practiced patterns by making a paper quilt. I pre-cut some triangles for Maddie out of patterned papers.

We practiced laying out a few patterns. Then she chose one and glued down her squares as she went along.

Meanwhile, I set Caleb up making a collage.

I keep an ice cube tray with my craft supplies. They come in handy. I put a few of each object in its own little cubby so Caleb could see what he had to work with.

And while he was creating his collage, Caleb was also perfecting his small motor skills by picking the tiny objects out of those little cubbies.
