We had a craaaazy weekend a week and a half ago!
Larissa and Justin got married. Woohoo!!
It was crazy because I was the maid of honor, Braden co-officiated, Maddie and Maisie were flower girls, Caleb was the ring bearer, and Duke was, well he's a cute little chubby bundle of hungryness! :)
Both my sisters managed to get married in November right after I'd had a summer baby...so Caleb was 5 months old when Jes got married and Duke was 4 months old now when La got married. Having an infant while being in a wedding is a bit tricky. It was very much a de ja vous experience, minus Braden's broken leg, thank God! :)
Maddie and Maisie were so cute as flower girls! Maddie was just thrilled to be a flower girl for the third time. And Maisie stole the show walking down the aisle.
She walked down the aisle holding Maddie's hand until about half-way down, when she decided to go it alone. She saw her grandma and yelled, "No-no!" (Nonna). Then she saw Christy and yelled, "Mommmmmy!!" and clapped her hands excitedly. And then she stumbled and plopped down and started to play with the flower petals Maddie had been sprinkling. Maddie stood her up and they finished...but not without entertaining everyone in attendance. She gave us all a good laugh!

We were all tired out by the end. Tired but happy.
