What makes this particularly special is that Maddie and KJ were born just 12 hours apart, Caleb and Tate just 3 months apart, and Maisie and Ella just 4 months apart--though, the Hydros received Ella just 2 weeks before Maisie was born, so in some ways it feels as though they 'were born' just 2 weeks apart.
And what makes the arrival of our girls within just weeks of each other even more sweet is that while we were ramping up our adoption, the Hydros were ending their very long attempt at an international adoption after encountering various difficulties. But right in the middle of the 5 week span between us finding out we were going to adopt Maisie and Maisie's birth, the Lord dropped Ella right into the open arms of the Hydros. It was so amazing! And we couldn't help but see the Lord's kindness in granting us both our third child--both girls, nonetheless--at the same time.
