ah yes, ireland...

The last activity we did for our Ireland unit was a cooking project. We made Donegal Pie, a casserole of sorts comprised of potatoes, eggs and bacon. Braden's Aunt Louise's mother wrote a substantial international cookbook back in 1979, and I found myself an old copy of it online. We used her recipe for an authentic Donegal Pie. Our Ireland unit is now officially finished, and we have moved on to studying plants, flowers and gardening. We're loving spring!
