So we broke with a bit of tradition and decided to dye some St. Patrick's Day eggs.
Our 4 shades of green...
...plus our best St. Patrick's Day smiles...
...equal a bowl full of lovely green eggs.
Before the kids dunked them, I used a candle to decorate the eggs and write surprises. The wax is invisible until the eggs are dyed, so the kids were surprised with each egg.
We used a mixture of white & brown eggs.
And I think this egg of Maddie's is about the prettiest dyed egg I've ever seen. Beautiful!
