I found a virtual sketch date online, where once a month a picture is posted. Anyone who wants to can sketch the picture and posts their rendition on flickr. I decided to try to do this since it is only once a month and because my drawing and painting skills have gotten so rusty. Braden let me paint for a couple hours on Sunday afternoon, and here is the result. Unfortunately watercolors sometimes just don't scan well--this one did not scan well at all. It was pretty washed out, and I tried adjusting the image two different ways, but the birds still look a bit blotchy, oh well.
