christmas 08 - part 1 - the president

Braden and I began our Christmas vacation by going to see President Bush. A special thank-you to our friend Eric, who took us.

Can I just say it was FREEZING! The windchill that day was somewhere near zero.

Garrick & Tarrah were with us, too.

Unfortunately for us, the President did not come out the doorway we were standing next to. He came directly out of the West Wing and across the lawn, as we were warned might happen. Oh well! But we did get wish him a 'Merry Christmas!'
