At last a little snow! * * *

Yes, a little bit of snow! We've been reading Maddie lots of books about snow and have not had a flake up 'til now. We finally got a nice little snow dusting of a good inch or 2. Maddie was very excited! Mommy was recovering from the stomach flu, so Daddy took Maddie out in the snow to play. Here's some shots of Maddie getting all bundled up!

Daddy pulled her in the sled. They even managed to slide down the little hill here in my parents' yard. The sled was probably Maddie's favorite thing about the snow.



Here are Braden and Maddie building some miniature snowmen. I think they had to use just about all the snow on the deck to build them!
Afterwards, Daddy fixed Maddie a cup of hot chocolate. It was a tiny little demitasse cup, but Maddie nursed that cup for a good half hour. She felt very important drinking out of that miniature "real" cup. It was cute! (Check out the bib Maddie chose.)
