The Day After Christmas

The 26th was just like Christmas Day all over again. The poor kids had quite the time waiting until the 26th to open the rest of their gifts. But they survived. (We knew they would.)

We began with Christmas brunch—cinnamon rolls, ambrosia, two egg casseroles (one being my family's apple-bacon strata—had to have that!), bagels and english muffins, chocolate chip banana bread, fruit. Christmas brunches are always some of the best!

Can't wait!!!

Smiling for the camera...with his eyes closed. He was just *a little* excited about his new barn and animals.

Cousins

Oh boy!!

It's Charlie Brown!

And more! (I found the cutest Charlie Brown figures set for these two. They love Charlie Brown.)

And then all the new toys got combined into one big playtime! I love that about Christmas. :)

Duke posing for the (wrong) camera—too cute!

Camo makes everything better!

Duke got his wish—mittens! Even better, it was monkey mittens with a hat.

Duke's "stickygwubs" phase has turned into "any gloves/mittens with a hat" phase. Almost everyday he is wearing some sort of hat (from cowboy to monkey to baseball cap) along with a pair of gloves or mittens. So funny! Something we will definitely remember about the Duke at 3.

And as usual Braden got me something awesome.

This sign I had been wanting for our dining room.

And what is Christmas without some music?!

It was a wonderful Christmas morning all over again!
