The cousins have come to town! Duke got to see them first yesterday morning when he stayed with Nonna & FaFa while the rest of us went to CC. When we got home in the afternoon, Duke was having his rest time upstairs like normal. I told him rest time was over and as he was coming down the stairs:
"Mommy, I played with Devin and Gabwiella today! ...[wagging his finger at me] You missed ALL the fuu-un! Mommy, they have grown very looong...and big."
Maisie after I picked her up from her afternoon class at CC:
"Mommy, I got a Starbucks!"
"You got a Starbucks? What do you mean?"
"A Starbucks...you know, one of those square candies."
"Oh! A Starburst. Those candies are called Starburst."
She's our kid all right! Knows her coffee but doesn't know her candy. Ha!
