So this week the Duke typed his own name on my keyboard, and Maisie started pointing our sight words, which she now reads as I read her books. Furthermore, Duke told me this morning that when something makes a noise it makes "noise waves," and showed me waves with his hands up and down and up and down.
I think I better get myself in gear here and really start teaching these two smarties! I was so on top of Maddie and Caleb's every point of early development, and matched them stride for stride. But these two seem to always be a step ahead of me. Preschool has been relaxed this year and very light so far, but the time has come. I'm upping the ante.
