Smile :)

* 5 wks old, you gave Mommy your first smile *

Guess who gave me her first smile this morning?  It was actually three big smiles and two little ones. 

Maisie has smiled in her sleep since birth, and she even laughs in her sleep--really cute belly laughs (first time, she was just a few days old).  She will even smile when drowsy, but I don't count all those as first smiles.

I wait for that first real smile, when baby is staring at you and then breaks out in a big grin. Melts every mother's heart.  Something about those early smiles that are so precious!
