amaryllis

Each March my mother's amaryllises come to life, shoot up and begin to bud and bloom. If you have never seen an amaryllis before, they are quite striking as they are very large and tall. Last week when the kids were at her house, she had them draw the amaryllises as they were just beginning to bud. I just loved Caleb's picture.
