our first snow (dusting)
The kids were so excited to see some snowflakes coming down this morning. Instead of starting school, they ran outside to play. We now have a pretty white dusting over the ground and on the rooftops. Maddie and Caleb are now inside drinking their first hot chocolate of the season, and preparing to do a 'science observation' all about snow. We'll draw and write about the snow--what did it feel like, sound like, taste like, look like, smell like?
