I waited until he was 4 to take him because I knew at 3 it was not happening! At 4 it took watching a movie plus me laying in the chair with him on top of me to just barely get his teeth checked and most of them cleaned. At 4 and a half--ah, what a difference 6 months can make in the life of a little boy! He was ready to go, climbed in the chair, closed his eyes and opened his mouth extra extra wide and waited like that for about 3 minutes while the hygenist prepared her tools. He looked so funny I had to grab my cell phone and take a pic to send to his daddy!
He made it through the cleaning quite well with only a moderate amount of facial contortions, octopus legs and odd hand postures. But he kept his mouth open and still. Good job, Bobe!
They say he has a big mouth and big teeth. (Everything seems to run a bit large on Bobe.)
