Did you know that Maddie really thinks that she does not sleep at night? Like, at all. She tells us often that she was up all night long and never slept. We keep telling her that we check on her every night before we go to sleep and she is always sleeping, but she doesn't buy it. After all, she doesn't remember going to sleep.
Just the other morning she marveled, "I slept last night and then it was morning and I woke up. I haven't gone to sleep in a looong time." That was the first time in ages we've heard her admit to sleeping. It cracks us up!
