strawberry picking

On Monday we went strawberry picking with some friends. Maddie's a wonderful berry picker. She is a very diligent picker and quickly fills up her little basket with ripe berries. Caleb? Well...he occupies himself by picking and eating berries. We didn't get a good picture of how messy he was. In minutes he was covered in strawberry juice!

Hmmmm...looks like a whole lot of eating going on!

That's my Caleb! In the middle of picking he ran over just to give me a 'bee hug' and a kiss.

Caleb spotted some bulldozers and trucks off in the distance. Braden walked him down to see them up close. Caleb is fascinated with trucks and machines these days.

Near the strawberry patch was a playground with a huge slide. Here's Caleb coming down. You can't even see the whole slide in the picture, this is just the bottom half. I don't think I've ever seen a playground slide this long!
