I was talking to Maddie about our upcoming trip to see my sister in CA. She and I are flying out there soon! I was explaining that we are going to be there for almost one whole week.
Maddie had a puzzled almost disbelieving look on her face.
Aren't there...like hotels in California for people who get tired and want to sleep?
Yes, there are hotels, but we are going to stay at Auntie Jess & Uncle Dave's house.

They have a bedroom for us to sleep in.

And when Nonna and FaFa went there, they knew they were coming too?
Yes, they did. I just talked to Auntie Jess again today about us coming.

I think Maddie thought we were flying out there for just one day!
