Three weeks before we moved we took a trip down to Mom & Dad's. This was our first time seeing our new digs. It was pretty exciting! Though we had driven up the driveway and seen their house and land, we had never actually been in their house or walked the property at all. So we were pretty excited to finally see it all!
We also needed to bring down a van load and a trailer load full of stuff. All the stuff we didn't want in storage for various reasons, like my paintings. We brought down everything we wouldn't need for our final 3 weeks.
The older kids took a dip in the pond with FaFa. Maddie wasn't so sure about it, but Caleb was all in!

Screened in porches down here are awesome! We immediately decided to build one on our house after being on this one. The babies could "go out" without actually going outside and without the constant supervision needed for that. Not to mention, with a roof it's that much cooler on hot, hot days. A lovely place to sit, chat, read or work.
