maddie's date with LaLa

LaLa took Maddie out tonight with her and a friend to go see a church play. Maddie was bubbling over with excitement. When she gets excited she can't stop talking and just babbles on and on. It's really cute. I asked Maddie if I could take a picture of her before she went out on her 'date' (as she was calling it). I was envisioning something totally different, but here is what I got from excited Maddie:

Finally, after numerous suggestions to "just give a nice smile," I got this--which is more along the lines of what I was picturing.
