Duke has baby (doll) he plays with. No clothes. Just "baby." He likes to wrap Baby in kitchen towels like blankets and sit in his rocking chair and rock Baby. (Not surprising since he loves to be snuggled and rocked in the rocking chair in his room.)
He was doing just that the other day and I told him he was being a good daddy. Maisie was playing with her baby and looked up at me for approval so I told her she was being a good mommy too.
She said,
"And Mommy, you are a good mother...And Daddy is a good...uh...king."
"You mean father?"
"Yes, father. Daddy is a good father."
