More from Caleb's birthday

Next we "had" to celebrate with our families. So, we had everyone over to our house for a meal. For the meal Caleb wanted vegetables and hummus, hot dogs, potato chips and watermelon...in that order.

He chose a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting decorated with white chocolate chips. Caleb was very specific this year! He even wanted to help make his cake, so help me he did.

And Maisie wanted to help too.

He got a baseball bat under his name, since this year was the year of baseball.

This was the first year Caleb did not want to wear his birthday crown. Maddie was mortified. But Caleb was okay with me sticking it on the mantel over his birthday garland.

Time for cake!

Caleb was barely excited to be celebrating his birthday.

Seven years old, wow!

Justin's parents happened to be in town, so they joined us for the party. They are very nice people.

Caleb got lots of cool gifts.

It was a great time celebrating. I'm not sure our kids yet realize how blessed they are to have all this family at their birthday parties, but as they grow up I think they will figure that out.
Caleb, you're SEVEN! We love you and love watching you grow up and become who God has made you to be.
